Kristi's Trash the Dress

Kristi married her husband Tim last October at the most amazing location in Delray Beach. She's been trying to schedule a Trash the Dress session for along time...well, since after her wedding at least! Finally, we were able to coordinate when her husband came into town on business. Ive know Kristi for many years; we were HR col lieges who became great friends. We had a fun (but ridiculously hot!) afternoon stopping all over Ormond Beach.

Trash the Dress session are one of my favorites- so creative and so much fun. And we didn't really "trash" her dress. It's more about a bride getting a 2nd use out of her dress and being photographed in fun, unconventional, unexpected places.
Who doesn't want to wear their wedding/prom/formal dress one more time?!

I like trying out different textures...whatcha think?

(another texture)

I'm lovin' this texture!

Happy first wedding anniversary to Tim & Kristi!

Lisa's Alter Ego Sneak Peek

Last night I had my friend Lisa over for her Alter Ego photo shoot since she won't be able to come to the Images for a Cure event in a few weeks. I'm still working on her actual alter ego photo but I wanted to share some of my favs from her session. The first few are her as her alter ego (a dark, dangerous, stressed out, wild woman!) and the last few are some simple headshots that I will also be doing at the event. Enjoy!!

Not so dark and dangerous but she looks so cute, doesn't she??!

And a much softer Lisa.

The calm before the storm...

And when I say "storm", I mean a good, awesome and fun storm of photography which will produce rain up to my eyeballs! It was a very slow summer but things are picking up in the world of Jennifer Ring Photography and I couldn't be more happy! My creativity and my camera seem to have been on summer vacation. I have a ton of exciting photo shoots coming soon- this weekend I am doing a Boudoir sessions for 2 girls, one of which I went to high school with and haven't seen in like 10 years!
We are taking one more vacation in 2 weeks- just to Orlando- but I'm looking forward to it. Disney, Sea world, shopping and relaxing! The following weekend is my Images for a Cure event which has become bigger than I have ever imagined! Great news for The Breast Cancer Research Foundation who will receive 100% off all proceeds from the benefit. Not only is it for a great cause, but it's going to be a BLAST!! (Contact me for more info or www.imagesforacure.com to donate or participate).
I am also pretty stoked about taking the class pictures at Charlie's pre-school. There are about 30 little guys & girls ranging from 2yrs to 4 yrs old- little ones...my favorite! And we aren't doing the normal, traditional "say cheese" with a corny backdrop either. It will be an adventure:) After that I have an Engagement Session in Tarpon Springs for my May 2010 wedding (my 3rd in 2010 so far!!) and a family session on a farm in Ocala with a huge, extended family. Then I have Camryn's 4th Birthday which will be unlike most 4 year old's birthdays- her celebration will be at Disney's Bippity Boppity Boutique. Ooo lala!! And November is already kickin' with a family session the 1st weekend and a BFF session the 2nd weekend.
Did I tell you how excited I am?? Just in case...I'm super excited to be busy and to be doing what I love to do. When my creativity starts flowing, I'm one happy girl. I will be taking the end of January and most of February off to welcome my little man (whom remands un-named...suggestions welcome!). By no means think of me as bragging or boasting...I'm happy, I'm excited...which I think everyone knows by now. And I wanted to share the news, that's all:)
Enjoy your day:), jenny

Images for a Cure

"We are daughters, sisters, husbands and fathers. We are roommates, best friends and soul mates. We are photographers with a passion for giving back. On October 11, 2009, we will unite our talents to contribute one day of session fees in support of breast cancer research. 100% of all session fees collected on this date will be donated to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation®. We are hopeful, that with your support we will find a cure in our lifetime. "

I am so honored and excited to be part of such an awesome benefit. Cancer has affected my family in many ways and finding a cure is so important to me, as it is to everyone who has been affected. My grandmother is a survior, my friend is a survior. Both my brother and my father-in-law have been and are still affected. Please join me, whether for my event or just by making even the smallest donation. You can make a difference. For my family, for your family and for our future.

I will be hosting an evening of photo sessions that include before/after "Alter Ego" headshots as well as a group photo. With a minimum dontation of $50.00, and a guestlist exceeding 20 beautiful women, I hope to make a large donation in support of finding a cure.

Anyone can donation at any time. Just go to www.imagesforacure.com, click on "make a donation" and make your donation. All proceeds go directly to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

Print Donations

I'm excited to be donating these large framed prints to a local OBGYN office in Daytona Beach. The prints will be displayed in the waiting areas and hope to inspire expected mothers to want belly shots, and new parents to act quick for super sweet newborn pictures. I'm so happy be be making this donation and to share some of my favorite photos with all of those that may come in contact with them as well!
