New header

Whatcha think?? Thanks to the fab JC (Jess Cumbie) I have a new logo so I decided to create a new header for my blog too. Simple, clean...let me know your thoughts:)

Katie & Patrick's E-session

Mendi's Session

My friend & neighbor, Mendi, and I have been talking about getting together for an individual session and we finally did on Saturday evening. It was an awesome evening so we went to Port Orange City Center- it's just so pretty there, especially in the evening time. And talk about pretty...Mendi is just stunning and so photogenic. We took several photos outdoors and then headed inside for a studio setting as well. I will be posting the studio photos soon.
I had a very busy weekend- family session Saturday afternoon, Mendi's session Saturday evening and then an adorable engagement session in Ponce Inlet. For now, all you get is Mendi. Some of her photos may just be my favorites to date.

I'm not sure why but this is one of my favs from her session. It's just so natural.

And I can say that I will NEVER shoot in anything expect RAW again and that I'm deeply in love with my 50mm lens...thanks for the millionth time, Jess!! xoxo

Presley Noel

I haven't taken pictures of Presley in quite a while so me & sweet "P" spent some QT together today. Since her last session, she has gotten most of her teeth and she walks everywhere, just short of running now! She has grown up so fast. Here are a few we shot today. And BTW, I shot in raw today for the first time...and I LOVE IT. So long jpeg! And thanks to Jess for showing me the light.

Ella & Family

On Saturday I drove to Deland to meet little Miss Ella and her family. Beth, Ella's mom, wanted some photos of her adorable 9 month old baby girl. Ella makes a lot of funny faces- I love when she would scrunch up her nose. We also included her big brother, Caleb, and her mom in a few frames as well.
Finally, Saturday was just perfect outside so I tried my hand at another mid-day session. And thanks to my training day with Jess, I think I did alright. Pheewww, just in time :)

Miss Sierra

Sierra is the daughter of one of my great friends- both mother and daughter are just stunningly beautiful!! I've been so busy the last week that I forgot to post some pictures from her session. A day with Jess

On Friday I spent the day with Jess Cumbie, an awesome photographer in Jacksonville. I had my first session just about a year ago with Jess and have had a few others since then. I really admire her work- she has a very creative approach and that's what I love about her photographs. Thankfully she offered to spend some time with me to help me with some things I had questions with. She arranged for two models to join us and the 4 of us had fun together.
