Layla and Luke

A few weeks ago I drove to Spring Hill for a photos shoot- not any ordinary photo shoot- a very special one. My friend, Jenny, whom I've know since elementary school wanted me to take photos of her adorable children. Layla, who is so sweet and girly, just loved having her pictures taken (I told her she needs to have a talk with Charlie, my daughter, who doesn't like to have her pictures taken at all!). And precious little newborn Luke was only a few weeks old. It was so fun to see Jenny and meet her beautiful family. I'm so grateful that my passion and love of photography has brought me to old friends that I haven't seen or spoken to in years. Thank you Jenny, Jack, Layla and little Luke for welcoming me into your home. All my best...

Jack is an exotic game hunter so this is Luke of one of his many (and I mean MANY) captures.

I just love Luke's sweet and sleepy expression in this one.

Look at Luke grinnin' at his big sister...love!

Cooper Maverick

It's so hard to believe that my little man is 7 weeks old already. He's growing too fast for his mama! Cooper is full of smiles and is cooing and so happy. These photos are from his newborn session at 8 days old...I know, I'm a little late on posting but hopefully, it was worth the wait. I know he was:)

This one is a bit unusual but I just love it- I love the roundness of his little face. He was wiggly the whole time up until we put him in this fabric like this- then he fell asleep. It may look uncomfortable, but to him, it was heavenly!

Caleb & Ella

I met these little cuties last year when they were in Florida on family vacation. When their mom, Beth, contacted me a few weeks ago to set up another session for this year I was so excited to see the little blue-eyed kiddos again! We met up on Sunday at Sunglow Pier for what turned out to be a fantastic morning at the beach. When Caleb stepped onto the sand, he said 'Wow! Snow!"...so sweet! Beth had said that it had just snowed back home in Texas and that was the kids first time seeing snow. Here are a few fun shots of Caleb and Ella playing on the beach.

Awaiting Brady

My friend Mendi is expecting a little boy who is due in just a few days. Brady will be welcomed by his mommy, his die-hard Red Sox fan Daddy, Brian, and 2 big sister, Lauren & Allison. They are all so excited for his arrival! And so am I...I found out that I was expecting just about a week after Mendi so we have gone through this journey together. It's been fun and amazing but we are both ready for our little boys to be here and for the next journey to begin.

Last week Mendi & I took a little time to take a few more maternity photos of her in a more natural setting. I've been wanting to shoot in this beautiful bamboo field for a long time now. Unfortunately, due to the recent cold weather & freeze, it's not as beautiful as it was. We shot around 1pm too, which is not my favorite time of day to shoot. But she looks amazing and gorgeous...be sure to leave Mendi some love (aka comments).
