Jess Cumbie is a photographer who I have always admired and who has been a mentor to me as I began turning my love of photography into a business. Her work inspires me! And now she has created truly amazing presets for Lightroom that are fresh, fun, edgy and super creative. They can be used for any kind of sessions from newborns to seniors and family to children. I simply love them all but here are a few examples so you can see how awesome they are! And they are so easy to use- plug 'em in and go! You can find more information and examples on her preset website www.presets.jesscumbie.com. Tell I sent you:)

Layla and Luke
A few weeks ago I drove to Spring Hill for a photos shoot- not any ordinary photo shoot- a very special one. My friend, Jenny, whom I've know since elementary school wanted me to take photos of her adorable children. Layla, who is so sweet and girly, just loved having her pictures taken (I told her she needs to have a talk with Charlie, my daughter, who doesn't like to have her pictures taken at all!). And precious little newborn Luke was only a few weeks old. It was so fun to see Jenny and meet her beautiful family. I'm so grateful that my passion and love of photography has brought me to old friends that I haven't seen or spoken to in years. Thank you Jenny, Jack, Layla and little Luke for welcoming me into your home. All my best...

Cooper Maverick
It's so hard to believe that my little man is 7 weeks old already. He's growing too fast for his mama! Cooper is full of smiles and is cooing and so happy. These photos are from his newborn session at 8 days old...I know, I'm a little late on posting but hopefully, it was worth the wait. I know he was:)

This one is a bit unusual but I just love it- I love the roundness of his little face. He was wiggly the whole time up until we put him in this fabric like this- then he fell asleep. It may look uncomfortable, but to him, it was heavenly!

Welcome to the world, Brody Jackson
First of all, I've come to terms with the fact that I must be the worst blogger ever! I'm quick to post on Facebook and to give my clients a 'sneak peek' but it takes me just about forever to blog about my sessions. I hereby promise to get better as of now...and in doing so, I have a TON of postings to catch up on. So, here I go...
Brody Jackson Radwick was welcomed into the world just 6 days before his newborn session. He is so sweet and sleepy- just how I love 'em for photos. Newborns are becoming one of my new favorite sessions- there something so innocent and precious. As a mother of 2, one being a 7 week old, I know how time goes by too quickly and these soft, quiet, sleepy moments are gone before you can blink. Here are some of Brody's first of many photo sessions with me...and welcome, sweet little Brody to a world where you have brought your family so much happiness and love!

Brody's big sister, Presley, wasn't in the mood to have her pictures taken that day...but we made the best of it and did manage to get a few shots.
